BC Soccer Board of Directors has appointed John Charlton to serve on the BC Soccer Board of Directors as Vice President - Adult until the 2025 Annual General Meeting.
As shared with membership via Bulletin?IB_2025-21, the Nominations Committee advised the BC Soccer Board of Directors to conduct a vote to select a new Vice President - Adult, following the appointment of Ralph Luongo to the Vice-President position.
John Charlton, who previously served as Director-at-large, will serve as Vice President - Adult until the 2025 Annual General Meeting when the position of Vice President -Adult will be retired. The Director-at-large position occupied by John Charlton will remain vacant until the 2025 Annual General Meeting.
In alignment with the approved modernized governing structure, the BC Soccer Board will be reduced by one position, to a total of 11 Board Members in 2025. As part of the governance modernization, in 2025 the Board will transition to a structure of 11 Board Members, retiring the Vice President - Adult position.
